About The Event

 

 

We are delighted to welcome you to the Emirates NBD Race to Malaysia powered by Thriwe run by Sport2Business Events.

 

This is an individual Medal, (Nett, off 95% course handicaps), sponsored series of events across all handicap divisions to select a team of 5 to represent the UAE in the World Amateur Golf Championship in November 2022.

 

There are now 15 qualifiers across the finest golf courses of the UAE, culminating in the National Final at Al Hamra, Rak on Saturday 1st October 2022.

 

 

The 5 category winners of that final then will be flown to Malaysia in November 12-19th 2022 for an all expenses paid 6 day golfing extravaganza, to represent UAE against 47 other countries in the World Final (www.worldgolfers.com) 

 

The 5 EGF handicap divisions are as follows:

•Up to 5

•6-10

•11-15

•16-20

•21-25

 

Given the nature of the event, participants will need to be over 18 and have registered EGF handicaps as the event is sanctioned by the EGF.

 

The event is open to all amateur golfers, men and women, within these handicap groupings (ie maximum EGF handicap allowed is 25).

 

You will participate in the handicap grouping dependent on your EGF handicap on the day of the event.
